NATIONAL POLICE CADET CORPS

CIVIL DEFENCE COURSE
Civil Defence Course is conducted for Secondary Two Cadets as part of the requirement to attain proficiency badges under the Community and National Education. The course over a period of 2 days. Venues of the course will be released through emails.

Course Objectives
1) To acquaint cadets with the meaning, significance and need of Civil Defence.
2)To educate cadets on the relationship of Civil Defence with the concept of total defence.
3)To provide training on basic Civil Defence Skills.
4)To provide opportunities for the participation of cadets in Civil Defence activities.
5)To encourage cadets to be members of the Civil Defence Volunteer Units (CDVU).
6)To prepare cadets for the Civil Defence Proficiency badge.
